Julia Kaiser

Liechtenstein

Julia Kaiser is an internationally acclaimed sculptor.
The artist's methodology is predicated on the assumption that every unworked stone contains a unique sculpture that can be revealed through meticulous craftsmanship. Her artistic journey commences with the quest for an exceptional stone that possesses a pre-existing narrative. The stone's shape and structure influence the artist's perception, guiding her as she uncovers the hidden sculpture with her hands.

Her interest in artistic design emerged during her early years. Following her education at the School of Applied Arts in Sarajevo, she embarked on a multifaceted artistic journey encompassing painting, drawing, fashion design, welding, ceramics and sculpture. Subsequently, she refined her expertise in classical sculpture and painting and then relocated to Switzerland to further refine her stone carving skills.
