Carolin Schmidt, also known as LaFabricarte, is a Cologne-based artist. Her passion for abstract structures began with black-and-white patterns and later developed into a colourful style incorporating various colours and materials.

Today, she creates artworks that emphasise the diversity of art, reflecting her preference for deep colours and different textures. She leads a life characterised by a deep love of creativity and a positive attitude. She believes that the processes of inner and outer creation are essential for spiritual growth and resilience. LaFabricarte's art invites viewers to see things from different perspectives, characterised as it is by the playful interplay of colours and materials. She currently focuses on abstract art, creating works not only with acrylic or oil paints, but also with various materials.

Often associated with moral dimensions, her works embody values such as order, purity and spirituality. She is currently exhibiting her work in several shows in Germany and Switzerland.
