Kelly Fischer
Switzerland / USA
Originally from Tennessee, Kelly Fischer has lived in Switzerland for thirty years. Maintaining close ties to both countries, she divides her time between studios in Bern, Weehawken and Memphis.
Her paintings have been featured in numerous galleries and major exhibitions, including Art Basel Miami, the Austrian Biennale and the Venice Biennale. As well as being an artist, Fischer is also the author of eleven children's books and the founder and former director of the English Montessori School of Bern. Her works reflect the artist's joie de vivre, expressed in every brushstroke.
At her exhibitions, it is not only her art that captivates the audience, but also her inviting smile and down-to-earth manner. Fischer is a passionate observer who captures the beauty and inspiration of her travels. After returning to her studios in New York, South Carolina, and Switzerland full of new energy, she continues to develop her ever-growing body of work. Meanwhile, her collectors eagerly await the opportunity to expand their collections.
