Galerie subjectobject

Germany

The Berlin-based gallery subjectobject is an exhibition space for contemporary art that combines conceptual art, sculpture and new media.
Since its foundation in 2007, the subjectobject gallery has become an integral part of the contemporary art landscape through the implementation of a sophisticated curatorial strategy, establishing itself as a vibrant hub for artistic innovation and contemplation. The gallery's establishment was driven by the objective of providing a platform for both emerging and established artists, with its exhibitions meticulously examining the relationship between subject and object in art and its perception. subjectobject places significant emphasis on the role of visual art in the contemporary context, where new media are increasingly predominant in the realms of creation, imagination and documentation, and the world is becoming increasingly interconnected, both physically and virtually.
The gallery's programme is dedicated to the presentation of art that engages with social sensitivities, established norms and moral concepts, as well as existential and individual realities in a contemporary context. In this context, the gallery combines traditional art forms with innovative approaches.

During the ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH art fair, the subjectobject gallery is presenting works by the artists Süheyla Asci, Silke Bartsch and Kübra Yarar.
