In his paintings, artist Claude Roegiers combines the art of textiles with emotion. He began his career in California, pursuing a career in fashion alongside his artistic practice – an influence that continues to shape his work to this day. Following his early abstract fabric paintings, in 2011 he developed a unique technique integrating warp and weft effects from textile production. This method uses threads to create patterns and textures during the weaving process, thereby enhancing the emotional and narrative elements of his work. Roegiers combines textile structures with pictorial painting to explore memories and emotions allegorically, revealing a deep, enigmatic world. His works exude elegance and timelessness, offering glimpses into a fleeting reality. Claude Roegiers now works in Paris and Miami.

Seine Werke strahlen Eleganz und Zeitlosigkeit aus und gewähren Einblicke in eine flüchtige Realität. Heute arbeitet er in Paris und Miami.
