The G13 Gallery, based in Malaysia, is focused on the promotion of contemporary Asian art.
The gallery collaborates with artists whose works are distinguished by significant potential, high relevance and a pronounced profundity. Through cross-border collaborations, residencies and exhibitions, the gallery fosters synergies between national and international artists.

For its inaugural European showcase, the gallery is presenting a solo exhibition in Zurich by the Malaysian artist Najib Ahmad Bamadhaj, a promising talent whose work has already garnered recognition in his home country and on the global stage.
Bamadhaj is recognised for his thought-provoking exploration of society and politics. The artist, who completed his studies in art at UiTM Shah Alam, employs a combination of keen observation and technical proficiency in his oeuvre. The thematic focus of Bamadhaj's oeuvre, which frequently centres on subjects such as women, animals, flowers and natural landscapes, challenges conventional perspectives and fosters a sense of social engagement. His artistic development is illustrated by a series of solo exhibitions.

His artistic accolades include the Young Guns Award (2013) and numerous victories in prestigious art competitions. In 2023, he was recognised as one of Malaysia's '40 Under 40' individuals, a testament to his remarkable achievements and influence in the art world. He continues to push boundaries with innovative storytelling and techniques, using art as a platform for meaningful dialogue on social issues.
