Haiting Tang
Haiting Tang was born in Inner Mongolia, China in 1974. She studied at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts from 1994, taught at the Tianjin University of Science and Technology School of Art from 1998, and completed a master's degree at the Beijing Fashion Institute in 2001. From 2010 to 2011, she was a visiting scholar at the Center Academy of Fine Arts under the guidance of Professor Luo Shiping, studying the art of the Han and Tang Dynasties.
Haiting Tang worked at Tianjin University for over 20 years as an associate professor and supervisor of master's programmes. In 2018, she settled in Switzerland and deepened her career as a professional artist.
«I was a professor of ancient art at the University of Tianjin in China. All the artworks there reflected exactly what I had imagined in my mind. I paint as if accidental traces were purposefully arranged. My artworks express the heightened state of consciousness in my image.»
