Caroline Helfer
Switzerland
Caroline Helfer (*1963) grew up in a family of artists. Her realistic-fantastic work is in constant development and movement, capturing and depicting formative moments in life, the special moment, the interpersonal encounter with plenty of room for individuality and freedom.
In addition to painting, the art of airbrushing gives her all the freedom she needs to create moving images. The airbrush is refined by a variety of mixing techniques. Combined with various etching and scratching techniques, this creates a very unique style of painting.
It is this very personal way of working that makes Caroline Helfer's paintings so vivid.
