Andreas Reuther

Andreas Reuther trained as a graphic artist in Frankfurt/Main, studied at the Kunsthochschule Kassel and completed postgraduate studies as a master student at the Staatl. Art Academy in Stuttgart. After working in Stuttgart and Lübeck, he now lives and works as a freelance painter and draughtsman in Bonn.

The viewer cannot escape the finely worked lines in Reuther's pen and ink drawings and paintings. The subtle use of colour gives the paintings a special sense of depth.
In his very own surrealist language, the artist explores space, both the outer and the inner man. In this way, the universe as the outermost boundary of the human being, before this unimaginable vastness becomes entangled in the individual macrocosm of the human soul with all its states of restlessness.
