Luco Cormerais
France
ABOUT
Luco Cormerais started out as a stone sculptor, but since 2012 he has also been working as a sculptor on paper, which he cuts in a unique way with repetitive cuts and then stretches to create a three-dimensional graphic composition.
Luco Cormerais rethinks the aesthetic approach. The work appears as an undulating structure that emits light. A passionate student of quantum physics and philosophy, Cormerais gently and poetically arranges the particles like waves in a field. In a work of contemplative emotion, he seems to stabilise the dance of atoms.
